Here is one proof of how beautiful watches were made in the 70s of the last century. Not only beautiful but also high quality.
Seiko 6119-7163 also call it Seiko Sushi because the hour markers remind of sushi, markers is three-dimensional high rollers filled with phosphorus.
This mine Sushi produced in April 1970, it is 50 years old !!! Who would say that when looks at it, it is more beautiful than any watch made today.
Movement cal. 6119 is one of the best movements which Seiko has made, especially this early series, they are perfect.
The watch is large in size, the inner bezel can rotate by a crown, the glass is thick crystal, the UFO style case is made of stainless steel and it fits perfectly on the wrist.
This model has also been reissued in late 90s, it power with 7s36 movement and bears the mark 7s36-0060. The reissue is also nice, but the original version is still nicer to me.
