Mido is a famous old Swiss manufacturer known for its high quality mechanical watches, but in the 1970s when electronics entered in the watch industry, Mido made its luxury LCD watch. Mido CD Quartz.
Watch is top quality build, all stainless steel case, front under crystal mineral glass is beautiful a three-dimensional blue panel whose shades overflow depending on the light, silver inscription Mido CD is also three-dimensional as is the silver frame around the display.
Module in watch is early ESA 9315 with 4 digit field effect early LCD, have date function and display light (micro bulb). It uses two batteries, one for watch operation and one for display light.
There were several variations of this model, all steel version with metal bracelet and with leather strap like this which I present to you, a gold plated version was also made.
The one I show you is brand new and never worn, everything on it is 100% original the same as back in 1975 when it was produced.
