In 1975 Orient introduced the world’s first touch LED watch Touchtron, you just gently touch the upper surface of the watch (top of the case) and the time will be displayed, if you tap again the date will be displayed. Cool.
This is a very well Japan made watch, the module is made entirely of ceramics and metals that are packed in a green plastic housing, all electrical contacts are gold plated, case is very massive all stainless steel made including solid links bracelet, glass is mineral crystal. The whole watch looks like some bracelet with big ruby. These watches are selling mostly on the Japanese market which is why it is quite difficult to find them today. The Orient Touchtron is quite large watch, you can best see it in a photo with the Pulsar P3 model, this mine is a full mint in its original packaging.
