Citizen Bullhead is automatic Hi-beat flyback chronograph watch with very durable original Japan made Citizen movement cal.8110 which was used in all mechanical Citizen chronographs manufactured in the 1970s. 1972 introduced cal. 8110.

It was manufactured in two types of case: oval shape and octagon shape. Octagon shape is much rarer and therefore more difficult to find.

Bezel on oval shape is originally painted black, however, this black color has been damaged over time on most and it is very difficult to restore it to its original state, so it is better to remove it completely which I also did on mine, and so it looks nicer to me…there is no such problem on the octagon model because there are no painted parts on it.

All stainless steel case, mineral crystal glass and solid links bracelets make these models very well made.

Mostly the question is which one Bullhead is better to choose, Seiko or Citizen? I say you must have both, because each is better in its own way than the other. No modern watch can be measured in beauty and quality with these pearls…
