The Beta 21 movement was launched in 1969, it is a rare movement based on the tuning fork watch movement with the addition of a quartz crystal on the oscillator circuit that served to obtain even more precise operation of the watch. Beta 21 movement is quite rare and was built only into top brand watches of the time: Patek Filipe Geneve, IWC Quartz Electronic, Omega Electroquartz f8192Hz, Longines Quartz Chron, Rado quartz 8192, Piaget, Bucherer, even Rolex built it in the very rare quartz model, but the rarest of all and the most interesting is the holy grail Bulova AccuQuartz Beta21 (AlienHead) which I had the opportunity to see live and put on my wrist, totally timeless and the craziest watch ever …
But back to the point, my Omega Electroquartz f8192 stopped working, it just stopped. I bought it at the beginning of 2000 ( it was produced in 1972) and it has been with me for 24 years, all that time it worked perfectly, of course if I didn’t wear it for a while it stood with the battery removed, so I can’t say that it worked the whole time without interruption, but whenever I took it and it worked perfectly. And this summer of 2024, it simply stopped. Fortunately, the movement, that is, the mechanical part of the watch, is completely correct, the problem is in the electronic assembly.
I tried in every way to solve the problem on the electronic assembly, but to no avail.

and my problem is solved. Thanks to Hanno Golek, I installed a new electronic circuit in my Omega. I most sincerely recommend cooperation with “strikes and spares” because there you can find solutions for many vintage electronics or led watches.
My Omega is working perfectly again.
